I just loved it! " - Indigo, Excited to buy the new book, sad to finish it. Harry, the wizard for hire, gets in another bind, gets beat up and solves the crime. " I'm really not sure about the divine influences on Harry's story, or the path that Michael is on, or how disconnected and coniving the faery queens are - but, its still a good story and lots of fun. I think I liked it better because there were fewer scary monsters/images. Like all of his books, though, there is quite a bit of language and sexual innuendo.
It had all of the great characters we love, and it was a fun read. " This is probably one of the better Dresden Files. " I'm not sure why but this book was not as exciting as others in the series. " Jim Butcher did not disappoiont on this one. I have read them hit and miss but am now listening to them in order and really am enjoying them. " I always enjoy the Dresden novels but if you don't read them in order, you miss a lot of the store line. " Great story and great narration! This is a terrific series.
